CourtX Game Court Installation Guide
Easy Setup. Elite Performance.
Follow these steps for a professional-grade installation. To ensure your warranty remains valid and to avoid damaging the tiles, do not snap the tiles together until Step 4
- Inventory Check: Compare all materials against your packing slip. Verify that nothing was damaged during shipping.
- Review the Blueprint: Study your custom, numbered court layout document included in the CourtX Installation Packet.
- Site Prep: Ensure your base (concrete, asphalt, or sub-floor) is clean, level, and ready. Move your pallets directly to the installation site.
- Unpack: Remove all plastic and cardboard wraps from the tile pallets.
Step 1: The Starting Corner
LocateΒ Panel #1Β on your diagram. Place it in the starting corner of your court.
- Orientation: Position the tile so the post ends (the "male" connectors) are facing Right and Down.
- The "No-Snap" Rule: Simply lay the panel into place. Do not click or snap it to anything yet.
Step 2: Dry Layout
Continue placing panels in numerical order (Panel #2, #3, etc.) according to your diagram.
- Move across the court following the pattern on your layout document.
- Lay the panels side-by-side until the entire court is laid out.
Step 3: Visual Inspection
Before connecting the tiles, step back and inspect the entire layout:
- Alignment: Does the basketball lane line up perfectly with the goal?
- Graphics: Do the logos and court lines match your diagram?
- Fit: Ensure there is no significant gapping between the un-snapped panels.
Step 4: Secure the Court (The "Snap")
Once you are satisfied with the layout, it is time to connect the tiles.
- Return to Panel #1 and follow the same numerical order you used in Step 2
- The Technique: Gently step on the seams where the tiles meet. Your body weight will press the post ends into the receiver ends.
- β οΈ CRITICAL WARNING: DO NOT USE EXCESSIVE FORCE. Using a mallet or heavy stomping can permanently damage the CourtX interlocking system.
Step 5: Edges and Corners
Once your main court is fully snapped together, you can add the finishing borders to provide a smooth, beveled transition to the ground.
- Post-side borders: For the edges with exposed posts.
- Receiver-side borders: For the edges with exposed receiver loops.
